Creative Arts

Seems like everyone’s hung up on worship labels these days. Traditional. Contemporary. Blended. Relevant. Post-Modern.

At Woodridge our goal is not to describe our worship, our goal is that our worship describe our God. On any given Sunday, our worship is but a small picture of who God is, like one pixel on your computer screen. It doesn’t do the big picture of God justice, but He calls us to worship, and knows the joy we will experience as we do so.

It is difficult to lead someone to a place you have not been yourself. That’s why here at Woodridge we stress excellence in the arts, but also an excellence in the heart. We’re not looking for perfect musicians or Christians, just those who are learning to walk with God more each day.
