Deacon Ministry
In accordance with the meaning of the work and the practice in the New Testament, Deacons are to be servants of the Church. Their duties are to serve with the Pastor and Staff in performing the tasks of leading the Church in the achievement of its missions, proclaiming the Gospel to believers and unbelievers, and caring for the Church's members and other persons in the community. The deacons are organized by adult Sunday School classes where they minister to persons in these classes. The deacons are also organized around various activities which serve the membership, such as single parent ministry and ministry to our widows.
