Children’s Ministry

The Children’s Ministry at Woodridge builds strong relationships with the child and their parents to assist and support our children to be fully devoted followers of Christ. We do this by offering programs, training resources, prayer, and encouragement.

Children in K – 2 grade will engage in Children’s Church every Sunday. Children will be taken from Sunday School to Children’s Church every week where they will engage in music, games, and Bible lessons that teach them to be followers of Christ.

Wednesdays at 6:15pm (September – May)

Awana is a non-denominational Bible club for children 2 years old through 5th grade. Awana is centered on the Gospel, scripture memory is key, it’s fun and exciting, children and youth are trained to serve, and it is built on strong leadership. Club meets weekly throughout the school year from September through May. Anyone can enroll at any time during the year. The one-time annual cost is from $20. Awana is open to all churches and communities.

Children Security

We have a security system that consists of checking in on our computers. On your first visit at Woodridge, we will have you fill out a visitor form and provide you with two labels; one for you and one for your child. The parent must give their duplicate name tag to the teacher in order to pick up their child. Once your child is in the system, you can check in all your children on one of our computers each time you are at Woodridge. All volunteers and paid workers have been background checked and receive Ministry Safe Training.
