The Children’s Ministry at Woodridge builds strong relationships with the child and their parents to assist and support our children to be fully devoted followers of Christ.  We do this by offering programs, training resources, prayer, and encouragement.

Sunday school

Sundays at 9:30am

Each week children will learn through age-appropriate Bible stories, crafts, activities, and lots of fun by our trained and dedicated teachers.

Sundays at 10:50am

Children in K – 2 grade will engage in Children’s Church every Sunday.  Children will be taken from Sunday School to Children’s Church every week where they will engage in music, games, and Bible lessons that teach them to be followers of Christ.

Wednesdays at 6:45pm (Sept – May)

The purpose of Mission Kids is to help to our children understand missions and provide opportunities for them to be “on mission”.  We will be using activities and mission projects to emphasize that even a child can be a missionary for God. This program is for 1 - 5 grades.

Children Security

We have a security system that consists of checking in on our computers. On your first visit at Woodridge, we will have you fill out a visitor form and provide you with two labels; one for you and one for your child.  The parent must give their duplicate name tag to the teacher in order to pick up their child.  Once your child is in the system, you can check in all your children on one of our computers each time you are at Woodridge.  All volunteers and paid workers have been background checked and receive Ministry Safe Training.
