CHILDREN’S MINISTRY

The Children’s Ministry at Woodridge builds strong relationships with both child and parents to assist and support our children to be fully devoted followers of Christ. We do this by offering programs, training resources, prayer, and encouragement.

SECURITY

We have a security system that consists of checking in on our computers. On your first visit at Woodridge, we will have you fill out a visitor form and provide you with two labels; one for you and one for your child. The parent must give their duplicate name tag to the teacher in order to pick up their child. Once your child is in the system, you can check in all your children on one of our computers each time you are at Woodridge. All volunteers and paid workers have been background checked and receive Ministry Safe Training.

Sundays | 9:00am & 10:30am

Each week children will learn through age-appropriate Bible stories, crafts, activities, and lots of fun by our trained and dedicated teachers.

Sundays | 10:30am

Children in K – 2 grade will engage in Children’s Church every Sunday. Children will be taken from Sunday School to Children’s Church every week where they will engage in music, games, and Bible lessons that teach them to be followers of Christ.

Wednesdays | 6:30pm

Leaders in Training is an awesome discipleship ministry where the children will be not only taught the Bible, but they will also have the opportunity to teach the Bible and learn incredible ministry skills!

For our 3 and 4 year olds, we will have Awana Cubbies! Awana is centered on the Gospel, and scripture memory is key.  Each week the children will learn a Bible lesson through puppets, activities, and teaching that is both age-appropriate and engaging.
