The Creative Arts Ministry uses music, drama, video, and technical arts each week in our worship gathering to express our love for Christ and demonstrate what He has done for us. By harnessing these God-given artistic gifts, we earnestly hope that every person in attendance on Sundays will experience the manifest presence of God in a profound way.
Yes, we still have a choir! And it’s made up of all ages and abilities. There is no audition to join this group—you just need a heart to attend faithfully and a love to sing to the Lord.
Wednesday Rehearsals at 6:00pm
This is a small group of singers that is comprised of faithful members of the choir. The praise team vocalists rotate and sing about once a month. An audition/voice check is required, and members are strongly encouraged to be active in Sunday School and other discipleship opportunities.
Wednesday Rehearsals at 7:00pm
The “band” is a 5-piece rhythm section often accented with an R&B horn section. The group adds sizzle to our worship gatherings and rehearses on Wednesday nights. An audition is required.
Our drama ministry brings humorous and poignant “slices of life” to our worship gatherings. In addition, they may be called upon to help with seasonal productions, and occasionally even write their own scripts!
These “specialists” run the sound, lights, video, and cameras for worship gatherings. Some of our best “techies” started out with little or no experience, but with some training and a teachable heart, they become integral parts of the team. Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings are the time they make it shine!
