The Cultivate Strategy

We’ve adopted a model of intentional strategic cultivation into how we serve both locally and internationally. Our desire is to provide long-term, sustainable, mission efforts with like-minded, Biblically-rooted, partners around the world. By focusing our efforts, we cultivate environments where spiritual fruit can grow.

International Missions

Our mission trips are designed to assist missionaries and pastors in reaching their communities with long-term church planting as the goal. Trip formats include ethnography, eye clinics*, evangelism, or even sports camps.

*Eye clinics are led by Sight Ministries International.

International Focus Areas

We partner with IMB missionaries in Osaka, Japan to reach one of the largest unreached populations in the world. With less the 1% having heard the Gospel, Osaka is in desperate need. These trips are spent exploring the city’s ultra-modern streets and developing contacts for local missionaries. For more info about upcoming opportunities, please click here.

We partner with IMB missionaries to minister to an unreached minority people group living in a Muslim-majority nation. On these trips you might spend a few hours having tea in someone’s home who has never heard about Jesus, or you could prayer walk down thousand year old streets. For more info about upcoming opportunities, please click here.

Woodridge has started a brand new program with Compassion International in the Dominican Republic. This ministry helps serve an extremely poor community by providing discipleship, education, meals, and medical resources to families. Our teams will work alongside local believers to supplement the ministry taking place within the Compassion International program. For more info about upcoming opportunities, please click here.

Our church has committed to serving alongside Sight Ministries International in reaching the more than 2,000 inhabited islands that make up the nation. Teams serve local communities through free eye care clinics. No experience is necessary or required, and all training takes place while in the field. For more info about upcoming opportunities, please click here.

Woodridge serves alongside Campus Crusade missionaries serving in Budapest, Hungary. With a population still living under the lingering effects from the state-sanctioned atheism which existed before the Soviet Union fell, many do not have a relationship with God. Our continuing efforts focus on working with high school and university students across the city. This take place through English classes that we help put on (All training takes place in the field). For more info about upcoming opportunities, please click here.

Throughout the year, Woodridge partners with Sight Ministries international (SMI) to serve through eye care clinics in various locations around the globe. For more info about upcoming SMI trips, please click here.

Be a Kid’s Hope Mentor!

If you have a passion for working with kids, you should consider being a Kid’s Hope mentor! Our mentors serve at a local elementary school for one hour each week. As a mentor you might spend your hour reading, talking, or playing games with at-risk students. This is a ministry that has a huge impact on our community. If you would like more information about serving, please contact Joshua Hill.
