Upward Basketball & Cheerleading
2019-2020 Season (Cancelled)
Many of our families were affected by the flooding last week and we hope that yours was not. If you were affected, we are praying for your family and would like to help in any way we can.
Unfortunately, the Woodridge gym did not escape the flooding. We were in contact with a contractor last week, hoping to be able to access the gym in time for it to be repaired in a minimum amount of time. However, by the time the gym could be accessed and evaluated by contractors, we realized repairs would be more extensive than first thought. Due to the time it takes to properly repair, resurface and seal the floor, we will not be able meet the timeline required to hold a successful Upward league this year.
It is with a heavy heart that I deliver this news to your family as we truly love spending time getting to know you and watching your children have fun learning basketball and growing in their faith. I do believe that God is in control of every aspect, including unexpected flooding and the consequences therein. I pray that if you are not able to be with us playing basketball this spring, that you are able to find other activity in our community that allows your family to spend time together and have fun. We will be looking forward to seeing you next year!
Adult Bowling League
The Adult bowling league begins every Fall & Spring.
